City Of Katy, TX

LILAC EXTENSION - This project includes storm drainage,a two lane street and sidewalks.  Construction will begin on June 15th.  The project begins at the west end of Town Park Blvd. and continues west to the east end of Lilac Street.

LAND CLEARING AND DITCH EXCAVATION - This project will consist of clearing approximately 34 acres of land located north of Town Park Subdivision.  It will also include enlargement of the existing drainage ditch.  This work is scheduled to begin in September, 2011.

WATER LINE PROJECT - This project will consist of the installation of new water line valves in several sections of the City.  The city will also be moving water meter taps to eighteen homes on the north side of Meadowlark Lane.  This project is to begin in August, 2011.

 KATY SENIOR CITIZEN ACTIVITY CENTER - Construction has begun on the new six thousand square foot Senior Citizen Activity Center located at 5370 E. Fifth Street.  The Center is expected to be completed in February, 2012.
