Costello Engineering will have a presentation on the Cane Island Branch at the City Council meeting on Monday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at 901 Avenue C (please use west entrance on Avenue D).
Please submit any/all photos and/or videos of the flood to the below email to help Costello provide the most accurate report possible. Please include in your email the address/area where the photos were taken.
MAYOR UPDATE: The City of Katy will have ongoing workshops for the different neighborhoods of town that flooded as our engineers move through the city doing their needs assessments. This is a process that will take some time over the coming months, but the City of Katy is dedicated to addressing our issues.
There will be a workshop for Pine Forest residents ONLY on November 7, 2017 at 5:30 PM in Council Chambers at Katy City Hall to further discuss the Costello report. For any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Along with being committed to drainage within the city limits, the City of Katy is also working extremely hard with local, regional, state and federal entities to address the core flooding problem – the Cypress Creek watershed.
The City of Katy cares about our residents and is working extremely hard for you. We thank you for your patience during this time.
