Fabol Hughes is a proud native Texan and has been a City of Katy resident for 36 years.

Fabol graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Houston and served in the U.S. Navy.   He attended San Jacinto Junior College and the University of Houston College of Business.

Fabol has been a Farmers Insurance representative since 1978 and serves as treasurer of the agents’ association local chapter.

Fabol has been an active member of Katy First United Methodist Church for 36 years and is a charter member of the Katy Masonic Lodge.  He is a member of the Katy Area Economic Development Council and currently serves on the Mobility committee and on the committee for the Redevelopment and Revitalization of Old Town Katy.

Some of Fabol’s other community involvements, to name a few, are Little League baseball, youth softball and soccer, Katy High School Booster Club, and sponsor of Katy FFA and Katy Bengal Brigade.  He is an avid supporter of Katy High School football and baseball.

Fabol is married to Paula, his wife of 45 years, and they are the proud parents of four children and have four grandchildren.  He enjoys fishing, hunting, reading, surfing the internet, playing computer games, challenging crossword puzzles, logic games and puzzles.
